My name is Tate Tipton, hence the business name Tate Tipton Photography. I was born in Chatsworth, GA, Which, if you do not know where that is, it is beside Dalton, GA or an hour south of Chattanooga, TN. I have since graduated from Shorter University in Rome, GA, and have moved back to Chatsworth.

July 31st, 2021 I married the pretty lady that you are seeing in these pictures! I am so thankful for her, and for how much she supports me in this small business. I had to show her off too, because she is just as much a part of this as well! I love bringing her along on photoshoots! She helps me so much, and catches all the little details that I may miss! Hopefully you guys will get to meet her too! We also have a beautiful daughter, Leah, who was born January 2023.

I am not, nor will I ever be a full time photographer. The most important thing to me is my faith! I believe that Jesus came to save each of us from our sins, and I want that to be known about me and about this business. In October of 2020 I felt God calling me into ministry, more specifically, student ministry. While this is something I had known for a long time, I chose to run from that call until that day in October! I am in a full time ministry position, and get to be a part-time photographer! It is awesome how God has allowed me to do two things that I love doing!

I bought a camera three years ago kind of on an impulse buy. I did not know if I would like it, but I did know I could help my friend video and take pictures for the Shorter University Football Team if I had a camera. I ended up falling in love with photography! I love being able to see what something looks like at the beginning and create a finished product! Photography helps me get to do that! After each session I get excited to see my work, and get to start seeing the change I can create while editing.

There was another part of photography that I honestly did not think about. It was the people. This is what I truly love about photography! I get to meet new people and for new relationships! People are why I take pictures, without people this would be no fun for me! Getting to meet you and hear a little bit about your life is the best part about any session!
